Get the lowdown on how the new Fancy Face studio came to be as Brittany Gray shares her heart in The Rosé Room Behind the Scenes
Welcome once again to our Fancy Face Rosé Room! I’m still just over the moon and wanted to take some time to give you a little taste of The Rosé Room Behind the Scenes! Basically, I wanted to take a moment as a professional to chat with other business owners and our amazing supporters out there. As a fellow entrepreneur, I think it’s important to share professional experiences and lessons with each other. Insight is key as we all grow, learn and improve as business owners and human beings! There are so many entrepreneurs out there who are trying to build their businesses. Perhaps they look at other companies, maybe like ours, and wonder, “How did they do it?” The truth of the matter is I’ve had Fancy Face for 14 years. We’ve always been a mobile company. The whole notion of the mobile business was still fairly new when I began Fancy Face 14 years ago. There weren’t many mobile makeup artists and hair stylists at that time so for many years it worked beautifully! Over the course of our company life to this point we’ve had many of our personal clients come to my home as well, so to no longer have to have people come into our family home on a regular basis is a dream! It’s very important to always create a positive aesthetic and feel and a relaxing environment for our clients. That being said, with two kids around and the need to make our home perfect for our customers, there was a constant sense of pressure.
Now, to have this space, take my work outside of our home and let my family be family in our four walls is huge for me and for us! To have this space that feels so authentically me, to have this space to come to and to have our artists come here to work together, collaborate, share ideas, grow and be inspired by each other is just amazing. It’s surreal. All of this took 14 years. 14 yrs to make it happen. It wasn’t all easy breezy. There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears that went into this project. Majorly long hours, physical labour, brainstorming, time away from home. So much dedication from the entire team. Victoria put heart and soul into this too, she was there for me through this entire process and I couldn’t have done it without her. Everything you see here took so much hard work, time and determination. It took everyone here at Fancy Face to make this dream a reality. It’s a huge milestone for the company, but for me personally it’s also such a big step in my life.
Every person that walks through that door will feel the heart of it, the heart of what Fancy Face is. This isn’t just a company that will watch you come in and out. We want you to feel a part of it, we want you to belong. This, for me, is my home. I hope you like it…
