Hey, beauties! It’s time for my latest wedding planning update! As mentioned in my previous blog, I really wanted to trial a few bridal looks and share them with you along the way. So without further ado, here’s the lowdown on my second bridal look!
I wanted to trial something completely different from my first look, which you can check out here. While my first look rocked some glitter and glow, this time around I leaned into some matte vibes along with the perfect pops of highlight.
✨ I used a matte colour for my eyes which, much to my surprise, I preferred. I also loved the shape the smokey wing liner created for my eye. I will absolutely be bringing this into my wedding look!
✨ I tried a new blush from Patrick Ta called ‘She’s Passionate’ and found it was quite lovely on. But in all honestly, I missed having that extra pop of pink on my cheek from look #1!
✨ Exploring coverage, I’m still not sold on whether or not I want full or a bit sheerer coverage for my skin so I’ll be sharing some more videos to take a look at what might be my best choice. As always, I’d love your input, so stay tuned!
✨ Acknowledging the fact that I have oily skin, I’ll be using a matte blush for some colour pop and save the highlighter for the high points of my cheeks to make sure I’m accentuating all the right places.
Overall, this look felt a little bit more chic and leaned further into “high-fashion”, which is ultimately the direction I’m going for with my bridal look! This one felt much more “me” and I loved it!
