Hey, beauties! It’s been some time since I’ve done a wedding update. In all transparency, it’s because I’ve been in that weird limbo stage where not much has happened — but I know that’s going to change anytime now… the calm before the storm, if you will. However, I have had one recent development that I am so excited to share with you all.
As some of you may or may not know, my fiance and I’s relationship is 80% long-distance, making our entire wedding planning process a little different from your “average” couple. We never did the traditional, go try on engagement rings together to see what I liked best. And it’s safe to say our wedding band journey has certainly followed suit!
I had the pleasure of going to Bluboho downtown Toronto with Brittany and a handful of my closest girlfriends to pick out my dream wedding bands! You can follow along on TikTok for some extra excitement! Now, I know wedding band shopping with your boss and your gals isn’t very traditional, but that’s just how we roll around here. 😉
Not only were we greeted by warmth, knowledge, patience and kindness but also…champagne! YUM! If I could rate my experience beyond 5 stars, I would.
I must’ve tried on every single wedding band at least twice, and was shown them in studio lighting and natural lighting. I know that may seem insignificant, but trust me when I say seeing your ring in various types of lighting truly makes a difference.
They have so many options, which I absolutely loved — from classic pavés to unique huggies and everything in between.
I love my engagement ring so much, that I wanted a band that was going to compliment it and not take away from it. That being said, there was no denying the love I felt when I tried on their Moirai Ring. It fit my engagement ring so perfectly, that it almost felt too good to be true. When I tell you my heart skipped a beat the second the Moirai band went on, I mean it. I cannot wait to look down at my hand now and not only remember the beautiful night I got engaged but also the day I picked out my wedding band with so many special gals by my side.
