Fall weather is upon us, and here at Fancy Face we couldn’t be more excited for all things fall! The colour of the leaves changing, warm and cozy knits, pumpkin spice everything… YES please!!! Not to mention all the events that happen in the fall are sooo the vibe.
If you’ve got any upcoming weddings, special events, fun activities planned for Thanksgiving, going to a pumpkin patch for family photos, or are simply looking for some inspiration in the fashion and beauty department for fall, keep on reading because we’ve put together our fave fall colour palettes along with fashion and beauty trends that we’re loving so far this autumn!
Burnt Orange / Sienna / Terracotta
These tones are always trending for fall, and they make for the most stunning fashion pieces for a Thanksgiving lunch or for cute outfits to go to the pumpkin patch! Wear a matching set with a cute pair of loafers (I love these chunky ones from Oat and Fort and also these from Steve Madden), or a pair of wide leg pants with a cardigan and voilà.
If you’re attending a wedding this fall and are looking for something different, opt for this Yelena dress or this one-shoulder one, both from Petal + Pup and both in tones that are super on trend for fall. They aren’t colours that people see often, so you will definitely stand out.

Navy / Forest Green / Emerald
Other trending colours this fall are navy and forest green. If you’re wanting to wear something dark but not quite as dark as black, navy or forest green are great options. Pair a coloured blazer (in either blue or green) or sweater with a body suit and some denim for a family gathering, and you’ll look perfectly put together yet super stylish! Blacks / Greys
Blacks and greys are, of course, always in style. For a classic and timeless vibe, opt for a beautiful black dress as a wedding guest whether you favour off-the-shoulder, halter, or a draped neckline. For fall festivities, a cute tennis skirt paired with lace up boots is very on trend, or simply a pair of trousers (in black or plaid) with a cute blazer!
Wearing black allows you to spice things up when it comes to your makeup, so we suggest either playing up the eyes or keeping the focus on the lips. You can never go wrong with a gorgeous red lip, and Give Love is the most perfect shade of red. Or instead, aim for a focus on the eyes with a sultry smokey eye, and keep it neutral on the lips using Nude Lip Liner, Bardot Lipstick and Undressed Lip Lacquer.
