Hey ladies! This little number is all about that glow. Many of you have been asking what we do and the products that we use to create that lovely little glow on our clients. So I’m going to share some of the everyday products I use to create glow any day of the week, then follow up with all the goodies we at Fancy Face use to create that brilliant, special glow for weddings and special events!

For Clean Skin With Very Little Makeup
Let’s start with that really clean, natural skin. This is for those of you who don’t like to wear a lot of makeup or have that overly powdered look, for those who are 50, 60 plus and for those of you who have really dry skin.
Two products that make your glow look dewy, like that glow from within look as opposed to a glam, overly highlighted look are RMS’ Living Luminizer and Becca Cosmetics’ Skin Love Glow Glaze. The Living Luminizer looks amazing on your cheekbones and down the centre of your nose. You don’t want to use this on top of powder so much as over a gentle foundation. It also looks beautiful over bare skin. The Glow Glaze is a similar product and it’s super easy to use thanks to its stick formulation. Pop it on top of your cream foundation or bare skin and you’ll get that lovely, dewy look. Win!
For A Reflective Glow
If you really love that pigmented, bright glow that gives off a bit of reflection under the light, Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight and Sunlight are beautiful. I usually apply the product with a Real Technique Synthetic Brush, just pour out a couple of drops and dip into it with the brush. Put it on the tops of your cheekbones, down the sides of your nose, cupid’s bow and you can also put a little under your brow bone for a nice glow and lift. If you have drier skin but really love the kind of glow a more pigmented product can offer, this gorgeous liquid is the one for you!
My Top 3 Favourite Powdered Highlighters
If you’ve been following us closely you’ll know by now about our own Fancy Face Highlighter, Dew-U. It’s the ultra glow that our clients love! It’s very highly pigmented and is a cream-to-powder formula. I love using it on the cheek bones, under the brows and on top of the eyelids, in the corners of the eyes and even on the chest. This is the product that gives our brides that brilliant all-over glow! This is one of my absolute favourites!
Before we created our own product I did have two other favourite highlighters that are also fabulous. Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter has a deeper, lovely champagne-gold tone. It’s gorgeous on all of the same places we mentioned you use Sweetly Kissed. I’m also a huge fan of Senna Divine Shine 01. This highlighter is great, and the tone on the right side of the palate is beautiful on darker, deeper skin tones and that warm, tanned skin. It’s just excellent.
There you have it! Those are my absolute favourite highlighters for dry and oily skin types as well as for a minimal makeup look and a more glammed-out look. Now go get your glow on!
