Brittany brings it with her 5 minute makeup challenge!
Hello lovelies! Me again! Today I wanted to try something a little different. I am giving myself a 5 minute makeup challenge! I have always said that I could do my makeup in 5 minutes or less, so I wanted to put myself to the test and see if that is totally accurate…I think it’s time to find out! And for some extra fun, see if you can step up to the challenge along with me!
Step One
I’m going to slather on some Strobe Cream by Mac. It looks very dewy on camera, I love me the dewy.
Step Two
Now for the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer. Let’s do it. Clock is ticking! Use those fingers, when we have 5 minutes we use fingers, gang!
Step Three
Diving into your foundation, I use Nars Radiant Finish, cover that face! Don’t cheap out on the neck, get it down there, too! Oh my gosh, this is nerve wracking! What if I fail this challenge!?
Step Four
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer! Brighten up those under eyes, friends. But let’s keep it quick! I have no idea how long it’s been! Don’t forget to add a little to the chin and to your forehead just above that in between the brows point. We’ve got this.
Oh my god, you guys. We’ve got three minutes. Let’s blast through the rest!
Step Five
Smash that Fancy Face Ballerina Bronzer onto your cheeks, cheek bones, forehead, nose and chin. Then add a little bit of the bronzer to the crease of your eye. I love bronzer. It’s so good for everything!
Step Six
Grab that Fancy Face Highlight and give yourself a bit of gorgeous glow, a touch down the nose and on your forehead and chin, too for some extra fabulousness!
Ok, where are we at!? 2 minutes left on the clock. We are so on it.
Step Seven
I’m going to slide on some of our lovely Fancy Face Satin Lip Liner. How are you guys doing!? Follow up the liner with our Love Note Lip Lacquer. So. Good.
Step Eight
I’m going to grab my L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara and put that on my lashes, we’re moving quickly so try not to poke an eye out! We have a teeny bit of time so let’s go for a second coat.
Step Nine
I’m going back in to my Ballerina Bronzer for a touch of blush on my cheeks. Smile and pop some on those apples!

Step Ten
Grab that brow gel and make it snappy! I’m using the Brow Set Gel by Mac for this challenge.
Step 11
Really, I feel like I could be finished here, but we have 10 seconds! Let’s put some mascara on the lower lashes!
Woo! I consider that challenge a success! How did you do? I think if there was anything else I would have done I’d have gone in at the end with a bit of setting powder. The look isn’t extreme, it’s perfect for an everyday look, the busy mom, busy women, basically busy people who just don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup!
